Dead Community? [18 Oct 2007|08:30pm]

Nobody's posted here in forever. So I thought I might try to resuscitate.

When working out, what do you wear under your shorts? Tighty-whities? Jock strap? Boxer-briefs?

Does it depend on the activity?

Hey everyone, It's me, and of course I'm new.
How horribly sad that new posts seem so rare in this community

What’s the most stereotypically ‘girly’ thing about you?
I love to sing, and play the piano, and participate in musical theater

Now, what’s the most stereotypically ‘manly’ thing about you?
I love action movies, and scary movies.

Hey, I'm new to this community so I just wanted to say hi.

What’s the most stereotypically ‘girly’ thing about you?
Some movies make me cry or want to cry, like the Virgin Suicides.

Now, what’s the most stereotypically ‘manly’ thing about you?
I drink my hard liquor straight from the bottle and without a chaser (unless a cig counts).

Also, anyone who can tell me where the quote is from gets a sock in the arm.

What’s the most stereotypically ‘girly’ thing about you?
Hm, I’d have to say the fact that I have boobs and a vagina.
Now, what’s the most stereotypically ‘manly’ thing about you?
The most virile aspects of myself are probably my thick, course eyebrows and heavy stache.

What's the most stereotypically 'girly' thing about you?

My jewelry, necklaces, rings, etc. My friend (a girl) gave me a jewelry box for christmas. it's too small, haha. I have been told i'm too clean because i don't sweat, and grass stains just make me mad, lol.

Now, what's the most stereotypically 'manly' thing about you?

My language about sexual terms. I can clean them up, but sometimes i'm like, why? haha.

I'll change my clothes about four or five times before finally going out the door.

What's the most stereotypically 'manly' thing about you?

I'll deny that first thing up and down. No matter what, I did not just admit to doing anything 'girly'.

Well, I tend to be a little bit of a princess at times. I like to look good, don't really like to get dirty a lot, yeah...

Now, what's the most stereotypically 'manly' thing about you?

I know how cars work, how to change the oil, rotate the tires, and a lot of other mechanical and computery/technical things.

I noticed no one has posted in a while, so I'll post something.

What's the most stereotypically 'girly' thing about you? (This also applies to girls who are in the group)

For me, it'd have to be jewelery. I like wearing choker necklaces and rings. That's my 'girly' thing.

Now, what's the most stereotypically 'manly' thing about you?

For me, the fact that I just like growing a beard. I shave it every two or three months and let it regrow.

Lisa Kudrow [10 Sep 2002|03:49pm]

[ mood | cranky ]

Okay, so I was watching the TV guide channel a couple weeks ago, trying to find out what's going to be on Comedy Central for the next hour, because I'm feeling unhappy and I want to just lose myself in some shitty eighties comedy. Up on the top half, they're showing an interview with Lisa Kudrow that was going to be on Oxygen, one of the stations dedicated to women's entertainment. She was talking about how women were clearly superior to men, and that she was annoyed that it's supposed to be cute, like, you're supposed to put up with it, because they're like dogs. Thirty years ago, some guy might have been saying something like that on television about women. Maybe. He probably wouldn't have worded it so offensively. But, now it's okay for women to be sexist and make rediculous generalizations, because, you know...it's somehow not the same.

I stumbled upon this 'boys only club' and had to laugh. i read through some of the posts, and I found one from a girl, who wanted to be in the club. A pussy anonymous poster wrote 'are you a guy? did you not read the user information' or something like that. well guess what, i did. the club openly states that if you are a guy, know a guy, or like a guy you can post. i am a girl, and i'm going to leave the community.. but i thought i'd give everyone a heads up. if you're going to exclude girls, atleast clarify the rules. guys only act like dicks to make up for what they lack.

This was just on.
I love this movie. I think any gay boy 'round my age (25) LOVES this movie. It's like the movie that made you pause and go, hmmm not only am I enjoying this action-packed hostage drama, but I am also really enjoying seeing the prep school boys jiggling around in their underwear.
And not just any boys, but Sean Astin! I've had a crush on him since Goonies.

And Nooo I'm not saying 12 yr old Mickey turns me on, I'm saying when I was 6, Mickey was really cute to me. Like I wanted to play, ride bikes with him, and then hopefully kiss him, cute.
By the time I was 14 and saw Toy Soldiers, and saw his ass.. then the last piece of that puzzle fell neatly into place.

Who was this movie made for anyway? It was too violent for teen girls. I remember Chris Connelly reviewing the movie on MTV, and smirking "put some pants on boys!". So what was the point of all the night scenes of boys in their skivvies? Boys crying, male bonding, etc etc.
Hmmm.
This movie was made for ME!

Wow ... the journals changed. Color me amazed.
heh.
Blah ... I’m so terribly bored. Pointless post I know, but I’ve nothing else to do. I should sleep; but for some reason I don't want to.
I feel like I’m waiting for something.
Yet ... I’ve no fucking clue what the hell I’m waiting for exactly.

Just another 'weird shit' kinda day.
